It's that can't-eat, can't-sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, world series kind of stuff. That's what this blog is all about. The things that make life worth living. For me, it's my family, friends, nutrition, traveling, pictures, my golden retriever, exercise, fashion, and of course, Christ.
I have always enjoyed writing and through most of my life I've kept a journal. Over the years journaling has turned into bible studies and self-reflection. In the Spring of 2013 I decided there are too many crazy things happening in my life to keep to myself. Not all are wonderful, but interesting, nonetheless.
My husband is a right-handed pitcher for NC Dinos in South Korea. This is his seventh season playing professional ball, and our first overseas. I think most people underestimate the life of a baseball player, and therefore underestimate how resilient their wives must be. Putting up with trades, weeks of traveling, 1 off-day a month, and only a few days notice (sometimes just hours) before moving to another city. Sometimes it's not glamorous, but I wouldn't trade it for the world!
So here I am. Writing about our experiences and things I've learned along the way. I wouldn't consider myself an expert at anything, but someone that loves and wants to learn a little bit about everything! I hope that through this blog I can do several things: offer advice and support to those who are enduring long-distance relationships, share our travel and love stories, and allow myself a creative outlet by sharing my many passions. Enjoy!
